These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scholars by ExamMama platform (the "Site") and the services offered by Scholars by ExamMama ("we", "us", or "our"), including online scholarship tests, question bank, test attempts, results, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Site or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Scholars by ExamMama is operated from Hyderabad, India. We provide an online platform for scholarship examinations, mock tests, and question-bank-driven practice for students across India.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to register on the platform or take a test. You confirm that the information you provide to us during registration is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Account Registration

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Each Scholarship ID is issued to a single individual and may not be shared, transferred, or sold.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, share credentials, or violate these Terms.

4. Test Fees & Payments

  • Some tests are free to attempt; others require a one-time unlock fee shown on the test detail page before you begin.
  • All fees are payable in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. Payment is considered received only after successful verification of the Razorpay signature on our servers.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • We reserve the right to change test pricing, add or remove tests, and modify the scholarship tier structure at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site or Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • upload or transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our systems, other users' accounts, or test data;
  • use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers, AI assistants) to access the Site, harvest questions, or complete tests on your behalf;
  • reproduce, redistribute, or resell any question, test, or platform content.

6. Test Conduct & Anti-Cheating

  • You must attempt each test yourself, in a single session, within the duration shown.
  • Use of external help, second devices, screen-sharing, or copying of questions is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification and account suspension.
  • We use technical measures (server-authoritative timers, unique paper generation, audit logs, duplicate detection) to detect and prevent cheating.
  • Retakes for paid tests are only permitted where the administrator has explicitly enabled them for that test.

7. Results, Ranking & Scholarships

  • Scores are auto-evaluated after submission using the marking scheme (including any negative marking) shown on the test detail page.
  • Ranks and scholarship tiers are computed from completed attempts and are indicative only. Final scholarship awards are subject to eligibility checks, verification of documents, and the discretion of the sponsoring organisation.
  • We do not guarantee any scholarship, prize, admission, or placement outcome from a test attempt.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including the Scholars by ExamMama name and logo, questions, test papers, explanations, images, videos, and code — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site integrates with third-party providers (Razorpay for payments, our managed cloud for hosting and database, communication providers for email and messaging). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service linked from ours.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of scholarship, admission, or opportunity.

12. Privacy & Communications

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to receive service-related and promotional communications from us via Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Voice, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
